Hi Res Heart

A quartet of the best improvising musicians from across the UK, playing vibrant free jazz in which space and fire are allowed to co-exist, and inspired by the classic Leo Smith Trio of the 1970s. Put together by Sheffield-based composer, producer and saxophonist Martin Archer, the band includes trumpeter Charlotte Keeffe, a ubiquitous presence on the London jazz and improvised music scene, and a remarkable and expressive musician. Martin Pyne (percussion and vibraphone) spends much time working with dancers alongside his own jazz and song based projects, and Michael Bardon on bass is a familiar face at The Lescar in so many creative bands and line-ups. All four musicians have recorded on Discus Music, the label founded and run by Martin Archer.
