A festive treat! Join us for vibrant, inventive versions of classic jazz tunes by the likes of Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Lennie Tristano, Bill Evans, and more, played by a first class line-up from the Leeds jazz scene featuring Will Howard on tenor sax, a wonderfully lyrical and sensitive musician, and an interactive and swinging rhythm section of Sam Quintana (Wandering Monster, Shapeshifters) on bass, Steve Hanley (Shapeshifters, Family Band) on drums, with one of the country’s most innovative and creative pianists, Jamil Sheriff.
